More and More Physicians Getting Connected Through Social Media
Although physicians have not been early adopters of social media, their numbers online are increasing. Unlike many business professionals; physicians, private practices, and hospitals have much more hesitation when using social media to interact with the online community. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict many healthcare providers with using these online communication tools due to the strict guidelines healthcare providers have on privacy for their patients. There are however ways for healthcare providers to use these social media outlets to help get involved with the online social world.

176 Leased Up, 178 Ready and Available!
Meditrina is proud to announce that the new medical office facility known as 176 Washington Avenue Extension, in Albany NY has been fully leased. The new facility located just outside the Daughters of Sarah Senior Community will accommodate the first tenant to sign a lease, Dialysis Clinic Inc., a non-profit corporation that cares for patients suffering from end-stage renal failure. The second tenant will be a private physician’s office. The property is scheduled for a Late June/Early July completion date.
